Back Pain –
80% of people will have low back pain at least once in their lives, it’s a very common complaint and can have a huge effect on your daily life. Back pain can happen at any stage of your life but is most common among 35 – 55 year olds.
Lower back muscles, abdomen, pelvic internal organs, the skin around the lumbar area, it can be linked to the bony lumbar spine, discs between the vertebrae, ligaments around the spine, spinal cord and nerves.
Back pain symptoms vary-
- Inflammation (swelling) on the back
- Pain down the legs
- Persistent back pain (lying down or resting does not help)
- A recent injury, blow or trauma to the back
